How the $8.1 Billion HR Tech industry Impacts Business today

San Francisco, California – December 9, 2013 — Hot on the heels of Glassdoor’s $50 million Series C funding announcement, a group of human resources and technology experts will be meeting to discuss the future of HR and recruiting technology on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Called Disrupt HR, this event will facilitate discussion among human resources, business executives, industry analysts and innovative HR technologies all working together to elevate business and human capital.

An intimate group of forty plus industry experts and senior leaders will meet at the exclusive Runway Incubator on Market Street in San Francisco many from Fortune 500 companies focused on leveraging the growth in SaaS technology along with social networks like Twitter and Facebook that are helping to fuel the growth in HR tech.

“HR technology is estimated to be an $8.1 billion dollar industry in 2015. Funding announcements like Glassdoor’s are driving innovation. However, the focus of how and where the technology is transforming in HR is the responsibility of business leaders and processes for whom the products are being developed to improve,” says Jessica Miller-Merrell leading HR technologist and Disrupt HR event organizer.

Miller-Merrell is no stranger to the HR technology industry documenting human capital technology acquisitions, mergers and funding announcements since 2005 on her HR blog (http://b4j.co/hr-ma), Blogging4jobs.

The event includes networking with champagne and chocolates followed by an interactive panel of industry analysts including Bersin, which was purchased by Deloitte last year. Attendees will hear from industry analysts and experts including John Sumser, Miller-Merrell, Rayanne Thorn, Andrew Karpie and Katherine Jones.

The event is invite only, however, members of the media are invited to attend the event at the Runway Incubator, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 5:30-8:00 PM. More information is available at http://b4j.co/disrupt-hr.
