HR.com Partners with Allen Interactions to Equip the HR Community in eLearning Advancement

HR.com, the largest network of human resource (HR) executives, has partnered with renowned eLearning leaders at Allen Interactions to launch a series of online courses to introduce the HR community to a fresh, agile approach to learning and development (L&D) and employee training.

With the workforces required to work online and remotely, there is a greater need than ever for HR teams to bring relevant, adaptable, digitally delivered content to their employees and organizations.

The first course will introduce an Agile process for creating the best learning experiences possible within any given budget and timeline. It integrates research-based principles for achieving lasting performance improvements. “Leading Agile eLearning Development” is part of a larger, 5-course Learning Leaders program to help teams change the way they think of themselves, how others in the organization view and value them, and how they function. All five courses will be interactively educational with weekly discussions and action plan templates.

A part of Allen Interactions’ outreach, The Allen Academy offers soup-to-nuts training and coaching for creating, supporting, and evaluating meaningful, memorable, and motivational learning experiences. Chairman & CEO, Michael Allen, is a recognized pioneer and leader in the design of interactive multimedia learning tools and applications. He is commonly considered the father of modern interactive learning. Dr. Allen will be teaching the series of courses along with Chief Instructional Strategist Ethan Edwards, an internationally recognized presenter on instructional design for eLearning and author of many eBooks on creating effective eLearning.

“The Allen Academy is excited to begin offering online courses with HR.com. Our first course features the Successive Approximation Model or SAM, detailed in Dr. Michael Allen’s book, Leaving ADDIE for SAM. SAM is the process the custom design studios at Allen Interactions have used and refined for decades in search of consistently creating exceptional learning experiences,” said Christopher Allen, Chief Strategy Officer at Allen Interactions.

Quality, skill-building, digital learning experiences are more important today than ever before. The Allen Academy team and all of Allen Interactions firmly believe that experience with SAM can change the tide from tedious and less effective traditional learning to something remarkable every time. Course participants will have the opportunity to learn from Dr. Michael Allen and Ethan Edwards in the first co-branded course with holistic conversations and prioritized, well-thought out actions to implement.

Course participants will be able to take advantage of pilot program special pricing, as well as earn 8.75 HRCI General Recertification Credits / 8.75 SHRM PDCs. Group registrations are available, but space is limited.
