The HealthCare Consumerism Radio show is co-hosted by Doug Field, CEO and Founder of The Institute of HealthCare Consumerism (www.TheIHCC.com) and Ron Bachman, Editorial Chairman. They are joined by special guest health and benefits solution providers to discuss leading edge strategies for navigating within the current, fast-changing marketplace, cutting health care costs and developing a profitable bottom line. JULY 13: “The Decision,” A Roundtable discussion on Supreme Court’s Ruling of Health Care Law

HealthCare Consumerism Radio co-hosts Doug Field and Ron Bachman host an interactive roundtable discussion with some of the prominent thought leaders and legal minds offering their opinion on the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Guests will offer opinions on what this means for the future of health care, the health care consumerism movement and what will happen come the November elections

Guests — Roy Ramthun, Mr. HSA, president of HSA Consulting Services LLC; Bill Sweetnam Jr., principal, Groom Law Group are confirmed for the panel. Georgia Republican Congressman Tom Price also has been invited to participate in the program.

JULY 20: Exploring the Dynamic Relationship Between Broker/Consultant and the Employer

Barb Vasko, vice president of Aon Hewitt, helps co-host the show and welcomes some of her employer clients, who have embraced the move to health care consumerism. They will share their story on how the clients came to the decision to change their health benefit plan. They also will discuss their approach to getting the employee population engaged and educated about the new offerings, as well as the incentive programs they installed to help increase employee population. They also will speak about what role wellness programs play in their health benefit program.

Guests — Barb Vasko, vice president Aon Hewitt; a health plan provider and an employer client of Aon Hewitt.

JULY 27: Implementation of a Successful Workplace Wellness Program

Key executive from three solution providers will discuss the latest innovations their company have created to help employers embrace the growing trend of workplace wellness programs. Each executive will touch on the benefits of a proper wellness program and the steps an employer should take when implementing a wellness program. Rewards and incentives also will be covered during this show.
