CNN Hero of the Year, Arthur Bloom, Joins LEAD2016 Speaking Roster

AURORA, On – HR.com has confirmed that Arthur Bloom, Founder and Director of MusiCorps; Founder and Director of Renovation In Music Education (RIME), and one of the Top 10 CNN Heroes of 2014, is scheduled to speak at the annual Leadership Excellence and Development Forum (LEAD2016) next February. Bloom, is a composer, pianist, and the founder and director of Renovation In Music Education and MusiCorps, which helps severely wounded warriors play music inspired by their combat experiences. Bloom’s credits span from the Kansas City Symphony to “The Colbert Report.” He created the Concert Curriculum, a program in which students collaborate and perform with a professional orchestra, and, working with NASA, he created a science version of the Concert Curriculum. Bloom leads the MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band, the performance component of MusiCorps, which has performed with Yo-Yo Ma, Roger Waters, Aaron Neville, and Oleta Adams, among others. In 2014, he was honored at the “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute” as one of the top 10 heroes of the year.
