HUNT VALLEY, Md., July 9, 2012 – ConnectYourCare’s founder and president, Jamie Spriggs, was honored recently by Ernst & Young for entrepreneurial excellence. Spriggs was among the finalists named for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® (EOY) award at their annual gala. Held at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, the EOY gala recognized entrepreneurship in the Maryland region.
Ernst & Young originated the Entrepreneur of the Year program in 1986 to honor entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, hard work and perseverance have created and sustained successful, growing business ventures. An independent panel of judges consisting of past EOY award winners, and civic and community leaders review and deliberate the merits of each nominee in order to select the top finalists and ultimately industry winners.
