The board-certified general surgeon brings over 30 years of experience to the role, reinforcing the organization's commitment to high-quality, integrated patient care.

Dr. Christian will guide AmeriWell's multidisciplinary teams as the organization expands its comprehensive treatment plans, with a specialized focus on personal injury, auto accidents, and work-related injuries. His diverse background spans general surgery, trauma rehabilitation, and holistic wellness, making him uniquely positioned to lead the clinical practice.

A graduate of Howard University College of Medicine, Dr. Christian completed his general surgery residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center, where he was recognized as Surgical Intern of the Year. His clinical expertise includes general surgery, obesity treatment, and bariatric support. He gained national recognition when the Discovery Channel documented a groundbreaking 1,000-pound weight-loss case under his care, which he later chronicled in his book, Mannafast Miracle.

"I am honored to join AmeriWell Clinics and support AmeriWell's mission of providing accessible, compassionate care," said Dr. Christian. "I look forward to leveraging my experience in both surgical and holistic medicine to ensure every patient receives the personalized, integrated treatment they need to achieve long-term wellness."

The appointment comes as AmeriWell Clinics continues to deliver a seamless care model that includes medical services, chiropractic care, physical therapy, aesthetic services, and on-site diagnostic imaging.
