The HR Open Standards 2016 Annual Meeting brings HR professionals and technology providers together to promote awareness and drive adoption of the Consortium’s free and interoperable suite of Human Resources data exchange standards. The HR Open Standards Consortium has been simplifying HR integrations since 1999 through their globally adopted HR-XML and HR-JSON data standards.

“HR tech implementations are often the understated antagonists on the otherwise happy horizon of HR technology solutions,” says William Tincup of Key Interval. “If you’re in HR tech or are anticipating an HR integration project soon, check out my keynote session – Successful HR Technology Implementations Demystified – at the HR Open 2016 Annual Meeting in Houston. The HR Open Standards Consortium fights the good fight by bringing companies and individuals together, technical and practitioners alike, to define data exchange standards that simplify the complex and costly integration process.”

This year, HR Open Standards welcomes two powerhouse keynote speakers: Kieran Brady of IQNavigator, named one of the top 100 most influential people in Staffing, who will be speaking on leveraging contingent workforce models and standards; and William Tincup of Key Interval, an industry analyst and thought leader at the intersection of HR and technology.

The meeting also showcases real-world implementation case studies, active standards development workgroups, and sessions on trending data topics including big data in the US vs. European environment, the new Trans-Atlantic Data Protection Framework, standards-driven refugee job board projects in Germany, and many others. Presenters include Kevin Coy of Arnall Golden Gregory, Dr. Ron McKinley and Lee Webster of the University of Texas Medical Branch, and many other industry leading professionals. The full HR Open Standards 2016 Annual Meeting agenda is available for download on the HR Open Standards event web page.

The standards development workgroup sessions allow participants to experience what it takes to develop HR-XML and HR-JSON standards for a specialized HR domain. The HR-XML and HR-JSON project workgroups that will be meeting during this conference include Assessments, Recruiting, Interviewing, Screening, and more.
