Human Capital Institute (HCI) Names Carl Rhodes to Serve as New CEO

Washington, D.C., September 1, 2011 – The Human Capital Institute (HCI) announced today that Carl Rhodes Ph.D. has been named Chief Executive Officer effective September 1, 2011.

Mr. Rhodes has served as HCI’s Chief Operating Officer since 2009 and brings over 20 years of academic, business and executive experience. Rhodes has previously served as CEO of Kairos Networks, in multiple leadership roles at the Corporate Executive Board (CEB), and as a
professor of methodology and American politics at the University of Cincinnati.

Rhodes replaces HCI founder Michael Foster, who will remain Chairman of the Board. According to Foster, “Carl is the right leader, with the right knowledge and leadership skills to take HCI to the next level. I admire and trust him completely, and am confident he will carry our vision
