DETROIT — January 6, 2011 — John Morton, head of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), has stated the organization intends to increase its scrutiny of employers. On January 18, 2011 at 1:00 pm Eastern /10:00 am Pacific, talent management system provider nowHIRE will host the complimentary webinar, “I-9 Compliance…Is Your Company at Risk?” During this hour-long webinar, immigration attorney Mike Nowlan will cover:
– the latest developments in Employment Eligibility Management
– trends in I-9 Compliance Review Activity
– pitfalls of conducting in-house audits
– record retention
– fines and penalties
– tips to determine your risk and to develop an Employment Eligibility Verification process
