The International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM), the world’s leading clearinghouse for the HRIM (Human Resource Information Management) industry, is pleased to announce it is now accepting proposals for its 2013 Annual Conference, the 2013 HRMS Strategies Conference. Created by industry experts and senior level practitioners who know firsthand the issues and challenges facing HR and HRIM professionals, IHRIM’s Annual Conference will be held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Orlando, FL on June 2-5, 2013. Deadline for all submissions is Friday, August 17, 2012.
“Since IHRIM packs the best HRMS education, information and networking into our conference, we are looking for presentations and course ideas that will both educate and inform HR and HR information management professionals,” said Lynne Mealy, CEO of IHRIM. “Our goal is to create both a learning environment and networking opportunity; so we are especially interested in case studies with practitioner involvement.”
Previous presenters have included thought leaders from organizations like Mayo Clinic, Oracle, Kellogg, Equifax, SAP, Tween Brands, Towers Watson, Qualcomm, Emory University, CareerBuilder, Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, and Citrix Systems.
Session Presentations
The focus of the conference sessions is intended to be educational in nature, delivered by senior practitioners and industry thought-leaders, sharing knowledge that can be applied in the workplace and help attendees improve their effectiveness. These sessions are not meant to showcase or promote a presenter or company’s services or product offerings. The HRMS Strategies Conference requires that session length be limited to 60 minutes – IHRIM recommends that you allow 45 minutes for the presentation and 15 minutes for Q & A.

Courses
Pre-Conference Education Courses will be held on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 in conjunction with IHRIM’s 2013 HRMS Strategies Conference. Course lengths of a half-day (3.5 total education hours) and a full-day (6.5 total education hours) are accepted.
