The International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM), the world’s leading clearinghouse for the HRIM (Human Resource Information Management) industry, today announced that its immediate past board chair, John Greer (HRIP), is slated to present two sessions at SHRM’s 2011 Annual Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The sessions, “Emerging Trends: Anticipating the Future of Work” and “Using Metrics to Increase the Value of Your Human Capital” will be located at the Las Vegas Hilton and will provide strategic business management credit for attendance.
The Emerging Trends: Anticipating the Future of Work session will be presented Monday, June 27, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. — 5:15 p.m. During this time, Mr. Greer will help attendees learn what global trends are going to impact the way work is done today and into the future and how to start planning now for their impact on your organization’s future human capital needs.
The Using Metrics to Increase the Value of Your Human Capital session will be presented Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. In this presentation, Mr. Greer will show attendees how to Increase the value of their organization’s human capital by adapting existing HR tools and techniques to create and implement an HR metrics and analytics program.
Mr. Greer served as the IHRIM board from January, 2009 to January 2011. He has more than thirty-five years of HR management experience the last twenty as the Chief HR Officer for three separate organizations. He holds an MBA and a BS in Psychology and is a certified Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute and a certified Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) from IHRIM.
