(Cambridge, MA) – The 40-year innovator of advanced methods for developing leaders, Interaction Associates (IA), has launched “LeaderLens,” a monthly webinar series with leading innovators on issues and trends around leadership. LeaderLens takes place the fourth Wednesday of each month and is free of charge.
The September LeaderLens features Leslie Alfin, former professor at Parsons School of Design and an expert in design thinking for business leaders. The 30-minute webinar will be conducted online Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 10 am Pacific Time, 1 p.m. Eastern. Conversational and informal in nature, the dialogues with important thought leaders are guided by Ashley Welch, Director, Leadership and Sustainability, Interaction Associates.
“Design Thinking is improving the bottom line for such leading brands as Proctor & Gamble and GE,” said Linda Dunkel, President and CEO of Interaction Associates. “In the new millennium, it really is not such a cutting-edge idea that design thinking will become a required leadership capability. Leaders must undertake a whole new skill set to be successful. That’s where our development expertise comes in,” she added.
Past LeaderLens guests include Raj Sisodia, founder of the Conscious Capitalism Institute, Charlie Piscatello, Chief People Officer of PetCo, and Sara Schley, an expert on systems thinking. Recorded LeaderLens webinars are available free at http://www.interactionassociates.com/ideas.
