Bethlehem, PA / June 12, 2012 — InterviewStream will help employers and campus recruiting professionals shape their video interview strategy at the National Association of Colleges and Employers’ (NACE) 2012 Conference and Expo, taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Tuesday, June 12 through Friday, June 15.
The video interview provider will display its newly-released iPad mobile app, InterviewStream Go, at its expo booth in space #202. Students can either use the app to be interviewed by employers or practice their soft skills via peer, professor and counselor reviews. NACE attendees will be able to test-drive the app — the industry’s only video-based application for video interviewing — and experience the company’s VIBE (Video Interview Branded Experience) technology, used by over 400 campuses in over 120 countries and by 21 of the top 25 MBA programs.
More than any other provider at the NACE conference, InterviewStream offers deep expertise with campuses and campus recruiting for companies like SoloCup and Sodexo. Introducing the app at the NACE conference is a natural step, since InterviewStream is already utilizing hundreds of thousands of college students who use the company’s practice platform as part of their course curriculum and to sharpen their job interview skills.
Chief Executive Officer Randy Bitting will also present “Leveraging Virtual Interviewing,” which teaches attendees how to shape a stellar video recruiting strategy and examines the role of career centers that prepare graduates for successful video interviews. He’ll speak on Wednesday, June 13, from 5:15 – 6 p.m. in the Skyview 2 room at Bally’s Las Vegas.
Video interviewing is especially pivotal for this year’s NACE conference, Bitting explains, because the technology has become a crucial campus tool for students entering a wildly competitive job market.
“After nine years of presenting at the NACE conference, video interviewing has established its value among employers who use it to pre-screen job candidates and among career centers who hone their students’ interviewing skills for in-person interviews as well as webcam interviews,” said Bitting. “The question is no longer whether employers have a video strategy . . . but rather, what IS their strategy going into the fall recruiting season?”
Bitting’s presentation is the latest in a nationwide speaking tour on virtual engagement topics, most recently giving the keynote speech at the NACE Face2Face networking event in Silicon Valley.
