InterviewStream Teams with Military Officers Association of America to Support Veterans Rejoining the Civilian Workforce

Bethlehem, PA / August 29, 2012 — The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is partnering with InterviewStream to provide its members with cutting-edge video interview technology to ease their shift from military to civilian careers.

The partnership will enable MOAA to add video interviews to its full suite of career transition services, which include assistance with personal assessment, resume development, self-marketing, pay and benefits negotiation and job and resume bank access.

MOAA is the nation’s largest military officers association with 377,000 members from every branch of the uniformed services—including active duty, retired, National Guard, reserve and former officers, as well as their families and survivors. The association chose InterviewStream to deploy its pre-recorded practice interview platform, which is currently used in over 120 countries.

“In today’s ultra-competitive job market, it’s important to arrive for every interview fully prepared to connect your strengths with an employer’s requirements,” explained Jim Carman, Director of MOAA’s Career Transition Services. “InterviewStream’s technology maximizes the likelihood of effectively connecting with your interviewers and elevating your performance.”

“Supporting military veterans is at the top of our priority list, and we’re honored to work with MOAA to ensure that veterans have the best career resources available,” said Randy Bitting, chief executive officer and co-founder of InterviewStream. “We recognize that veterans face a unique set of challenges as they rejoin the everyday workforce. MOAA is doing a fantastic job of making U.S. employers aware of this rich source of talent and the marketable qualities they offer.”
