TROY, Mich. (September 20, 2012) – Kelly Services today announced the roll-out of a comprehensive and cost-competitive suite of insurance solutions available exclusively to its secondary and managed suppliers, independent contractors and consultants.
The new programs, Kelly Complete, Kelly Excess and Kelly Crime, are administered with consultative industry expertise and eliminate a leading barrier faced by many small to mid-sized, niche staffing suppliers by ensuring they are pre-qualified on insurance for all Kelly-managed staffing programs.
Highlights of each program are:
Kelly Complete — a comprehensive primary insurance program combined with an excess liability policy and excess crime. Program primary limits apply to all of a supplier’s operations and are not limited to work performed on Kelly-managed programs only — eliminating the need to buy separate primary insurance.
Kelly Excess — a supplemental insurance program for excess liability that will satisfy most customer umbrella liability requirements.
Kelly Crime — a supplemental insurance program for third-party crime coverage that can be primary with no underlying insurance or in excess of existing third-party crime coverage.
Kelly® launched its Supplier Insurance Program in partnership with the American Staffing Assurance Company (ASAC), and has seen steady year over year growth in the underwriting of supplier insurance policies since the program was launched in 2009. Developed to offer affordable insurance alternatives to suppliers who might otherwise have been prevented from doing business with major corporations, the program also provides Kelly customers access to a broader pool of workforce talent.
“Kelly listened to our feedback on the insurance challenges DTS faced prior to initiating their supplier insurance program,” said Sri Talluri, CEO, Digital Technology Solutions (DTS). “We are not only pleased to be partners with Kelly, but also with the new business opportunities the program has afforded us.”
“Enabling our supply base to deliver quality talent with minimized risk is a strategic priority for Kelly,” said Gary Pearce, vice president, Risk Management, Kelly Services. “Our Risk Management team worked with leading experts in both the staffing insurance arena and the insurance industry at large to develop these innovative insurance programs that are unparalleled in the staffing industry.”
