Kelly Services Executives Honored as 2013 Pros to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine

TROY, Mich. (February 14, 2013) — Three executives from Kelly Services, a leading workforce solutions company, have been recognized as “Pros to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. John Healy, Vice President, Talent Supply Chain Strategist, Robert Lucas, Vice President, Global Solutions; and Jennifer Spicher, Vice President, KellyOCG, were named to the annual list that will be published in the March issue.

Now in its 13th year, the Supply & Demand Chain Executive “Pros to Know” awards recognize both ends of the supply chain. This includes honoring the “providers” which includes individuals from software firms, service providers, consultancies or academia who helped their supply chain clients or the supply chain community prepare to meet industry challenges. “Practitioners” are also honored, including the Kelly team, for demonstrating leadership by managing risk in the supply chain, providing competitive advantage, and delivering value to the bottom line.

“The number of issues that can present themselves in one’s business truly run the gamut–from a dysfunctional product component found within a manufacturer’s tier three level of the supply chain to clarifying a business’s procurement strategy for reduced costs,” said Barry Hochfelder, Editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “It’s not always initially clear as to how broad the scale of the supply chain and its challenges really is. If there are those present in the industry who are working to overcome such issues and grow the global supply chain at the same time, they should get the recognition they deserve for their achievements.”

“Kelly continues to build upon our industry-leading talent supply chain outsourcing solutions to deliver meaningful results for our clients,” said Teresa Carroll, Senior Vice President of Kelly Services and General Manager of KellyOCG. “The collective contributions made by John, Bob and Jenn in their respective positions have played an integral role in Kelly’s talent supply chain strategy. They are very deserving of this honor.”

In his current position with Kelly, John Healy consults with clients on the design and delivery of workforce solutions built to meet the talent acquisition and utilization, compliance, risk mitigation, cost savings, supply chain and process efficiency demands necessary to succeed in today’s global economy. John joined Kelly in 1993 and held positions in both field and corporate operations.

As Vice President of Global Solutions for Kelly, Bob Lucas is responsible for strategic global client acquisition. Bob joined Kelly in 2011 with more than 25 years of industry experience in the areas of VMS technology, MSP business models and the development of innovative solutions for clients. Since the early 1990s, he has helped to shape the human capital industry through his work in the Vendor Management Systems and its application to Talent Supply Chain Management.

Jennifer Spicher has consulted with some of the world’s largest companies to evaluate and design the optimal talent supply chain solution for the organization. Her focus on change leadership has increased the adoption rate and readiness for change by first evaluating and prioritizing which aspects of the talent supply chain to address in order to deliver the highest impact to the client. Jennifer joined Kelly in 2009.
