Insala EVP Inducted Into West Texas A&M Communications Hall of Fame
DALLAS/FT. WORTH – SEPTEMBER 30, 2013 – Matt Adams, executive vice president of client solutions at Insala, was one of four inaugural inductees into the West Texas A&M University Communication Hall of Fame on Friday, September 20, 2013.
Inducted with him were Andy Justus, television news anchor at NBC affiliate KAMR in Amarillo; Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart, vice president of academic affairs at Amarillo College; and Guy P. Yates, professor emeritus of speech communication.
The inductees were nominated by West Texas A&M alumni, and selected by a seven-member panel of communications professionals.
Adams has more than 20 years of professional and academic experience. As EVP of Insala, he shares and facilitates consulting techniques and communication strategies with career service professionals across the world. The American Forensics Association has recognized him as one of the nation’s top speakers, and colleagues in the state of Texas have voted him Best Speaker three consecutive times. He earned his M.A Communication from West Texas A&M University in 1993.
“It was truly an honor to be part of such a select group, and I am totally humbled to be included as one of the first inductees into the Communication Hall of Fame along with my mentor, colleague and friend, Guy Yates,” said Adams. “Throughout my college and teaching career, everything I learned and taught has been fully used and realized within the corporate business world. Communication is key within any organization, and certainly within the Insala specialization of career development, coaching and mentoring.”
Hosted by the West Texas Department of Communication, the event was held in the Alumni Banquet Facility. Claire Shipman, ABC senior national correspondent for “Good Morning America,” was the keynote speaker.
