The International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM), the world’s leading clearinghouse for the HRIM (Human Resource Information Management) industry, announced today that Oracle’s Vice President of Human Capital Management Strategy, Gretchen Alarcon, will deliver the opening keynote address at its 2011 Conference and Technology Exposition. The annual event will be held May 15-18, 2011 at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center on the Potomac, just minutes outside of Washington DC.
The keynote, `Putting People First: Exploring the New Era of HR Technology,’ will highlight some of the advances in technology and how they are making it possible for modern HR applications to reflect the way professionals really work. Additionally, Ms. Alarcon will address how the latest business intelligence tools not only put information right at your fingertips, it can even help you look ahead and be prepared for upcoming workforce changes.

Gretchen Alarcon is Vice President, Human Capital Management Strategy at Oracle. Ms. Alarcon leads the strategy team responsible for applications that enable companies to align their workforce goals and business objectives. Ms. Alarcon brings more than 15 years of industry experience to Oracle’s strategy organization. Prior to joining Oracle, she spent over four years at PeopleSoft working closely with customers and contributing to the direction of the company’s talent management and recruiting applications.
