(Lincoln, Nebr.) – Dr. Brett Wells, Chief Science and Consulting Officer at Talent Plus, Inc. ® has been appointed for a second term to serve on the Scientific Affairs Committee for the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). Dr. Wells has been a member of the committee since 2015.
This committee is concerned with all aspects of the field as a science, addressing workplace issues both at the individual and organizational level.
“In the past, I was honored to provide input to the American Psychological Association (APA) that wrote the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing,” says Dr. Wells. “This term, I’m looking forward to addressing pressing issues, including automation, artificial intelligence, contingent workers and leadership development in the changing workplace.”
As the chief scientist at Talent Plus, Dr. Wells has been on the front line of innovation and research, speaking at conferences and appearing in various peer-reviewed journals. He also led a team in writing a chapter for the Cambridge Handbook of Technology and Employee Behavior, published early 2019.
