Watson Realty Equips 800 Agents with AI-Powered Personal Security from Bond

Watson Realty Corp., a major residential real estate brokerage in the Southeast, has announced an agreement with Bond (Nasdaq: OBAI), the provider of AI-powered preventative personal security, to offer its platform to approximately 800 agents across Florida and Georgia. This deployment grants agents access to Bond's combination of proprietary AI technology and 24/7 live Personal Security Agents, which can be used during activities such as meeting clients, showing properties, hosting open houses, entering vacant homes, and traveling alone between appointments.

The announcement comes ahead of REALTOR® Safety Month in September, underscoring the risks real estate agents face. Watson's adoption of Bond reflects a broader shift toward viewing personal security as a year-round business priority and extends the concept of employer duty of care beyond the physical workplace. This move also sets a precedent for companies to offer personal security as an employee benefit for those whose jobs require them to work in the field.

William Watson III, President of Watson Realty Corp., emphasized the importance of providing professional security resources to agents. “Real estate agents spend much of their working lives away from an office, often meeting people for the first time and entering properties alone. We believe they should have professional security resources available to them wherever their work takes them,” he said. “Our agents are the heart of this company, and providing Bond is a meaningful investment in their safety, confidence and peace of mind. If an agent feels uncomfortable about a situation, they shouldn’t have to wait until it becomes an emergency before they can get help.”

Bond has pioneered the category of preventative personal security, using AI and trained security professionals to identify and address potential risks before they escalate. Members can access live Personal Security Agents within seconds for services such as safety monitoring, security check-ins, threat deterrence, de-escalation, and coordination with first responders. For real estate agents, this model fills a critical gap in traditional security, as they often work alone, meet strangers, and enter unfamiliar or vacant properties without the security infrastructure of a conventional workplace. Bond is uniquely positioned to provide professional personal security during the period before an emergency, enabling employers to extend protection to employees wherever their jobs take them.

Doron Kempel, Founder and CEO of Bond, highlighted the significance of the partnership. “Watson deeply understands something every organization with a mobile workforce ultimately has to address: the workplace no longer ends at the office door, and neither should an employer’s commitment to its people,” he said. “Watson is leading by example and demonstrating what the new standard of duty of care can look like. AI is allowing us to democratize a level of preventative protection that historically was available only to executives and other highly protected individuals and make it available across an entire workforce. We believe personal security is becoming an essential employee benefit, and companies like Watson are showing the rest of the market what is now possible.”

This agreement also illustrates how AI is transforming the capabilities and economics of personal security. Traditional professional protection has relied on dedicated personnel, making it impractical for large workforces. Bond combines AI with live agents to offer scalable, professional-grade security, including for remote workers, travelers, and those who enter customers' homes. This expands what employers can offer as part of their duty of care, especially as work increasingly occurs in homes, vehicles, client locations, and public spaces. Bond enables employers to provide personal security broadly rather than limiting it to senior executives.

For Watson, agents can now carry a layer of professional security whether at an open house, meeting a buyer, arriving at a vacant property, or traveling between appointments. The deployment complements existing safety practices and gives agents an immediate resource when something feels wrong. By providing this protection to approximately 800 agents, Watson is helping set a new benchmark for how real estate companies and employers with mobile workforces approach safety.

Watson's deployment also points to a larger workforce-security challenge. Millions of Americans—including real estate professionals, home-health workers, salespeople, delivery and rideshare workers—regularly work outside conventional workplaces without nearby colleagues or security personnel. As employers compete to offer benefits that meaningfully improve lives, personal security represents a new frontier: protection that follows people beyond the office. Bond's preventative model aims to make this benefit possible at scale while preserving privacy and giving members control over when and how security is activated.
