Wonderlic, the leading provider of assessments for pre-employment testing and student admissions testing, today announced the selection of John Picone, National Sales Manager, to the Default Prevention Committee of the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU).
This volunteer committee is comprised of 60 members, including two members from the U.S. Department of Education’s default prevention area. Committee co-chairs are Jim Hutton of the Anthem Education Group, and Jennifer Hoepner of Herzing University.
“I’m very honored to be selected, and am looking forward to lending my experience to this committee and to APSCU members,” states Mr. Picone. “Controlling default rates and understanding risk is an area Wonderlic has significant expertise, and I look forward to participating on the committee as we help member schools improve their repayment rates in the coming year.”
The committee will be meeting monthly through the 2011 fiscal year to share best practices and work on initiatives such as the creation of a Default Prevention Seminar and developing a loan counseling program for students.
