TULSA, OK, June 24, 2011 — Hogan Assessment Systems announced a strategic partnership with Maersk Training Centre, an independent training provider within the A.P. Moller — Maersk Group, to improve worker safety.
The A.P. Moller — Maersk Group is a conglomerate of maritime shipping, logistics, energy, retail and manufacturing companies operating in more than 130 countries around the globe.
Hogan consultants recently traveled to MTC’s Svendborg, Denmark, headquarters to certify its core team to use SafeSystem, a revolutionary product that augments traditional safety training methods with powerful personality assessments and coaching to improve worker safety.
Typical safety solutions focus on education, equipment and protocol. The success rate of these programs is limited, however, because they don’t address the overarching cause of workplace accidents — human error. SafeSystem uses a three-tiered approach that evaluates the culture of worker engagement as it relates to safety, evaluates the safety orientation of individual workers, and creates a coaching process to improve organizational safety and protect companies’ human capital. MTC can now incorporate SafeSystem across all its training platforms.
“We are excited to announce this partnership,” said Ryan Ross, VP of Consulting at Hogan. “By combing the world-class education and training at MTC with the powerful tools offered by SafeSystem, we can now provide truly comprehensive safety training to positively impact workers at one of the largest companies in the world.”
