The International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM), the world’s leading clearinghouse for the HRIM (Human Resource Information Management) industry, today announced that its board chair, Nov Omana, HRIP, will be a featured presenter at the NuView Network 2011 Conference in San Antonio, Texas at the Sheraton Gunter Hotel.
Nov’s session, The HR Landscape: Pioneers of Change or Lost in the Wilderness?, will be presented Friday, September 23, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. During this time, he will help attendees explore the parameters that are affecting the workforce; the technology changes that are occurring; and the supporting vendor landscape that is creating more opportunity for HR to consider.
“As the economy moves in erratic patterns, so must businesses to keep from folding or stagnating,” said Nov Omana, board chairman for IHRIM. “Because HR continues to be challenged to find its role within business, I will use this session to help attendees determine how they can provide meaningful contributions in its programs and management of its workforce.”
Nov is the chairman of the board for IHRIM, where he serves as the leading voice for the association’s membership, helping to guide the development and implementation of all IHRIM’s Products and Services projects. He has more than 35 years experience in HR technology and consulting, and is the CEO/Founder of Collective HR Solutions. Nov holds a Bachelors of Science from California State University Los Angeles and recently achieved his Human Resources Information Professional (HRIP) Certification from IHRIM.
