The Workforce Planning and Analytics Online Certification Program was one of the first of 20 programs launched by HR.com’s Institute for Human Resources (IHR) in December 2010. What a year! The Workforce Planning program attracted more than 6,300 registrations in its first year, all of which are recognized for certification credit. During this time, there have been 89 online webcast sessions specific to the Workforce Planning niche division of HR, all of which are available for certification credit in archives. These numbers are a true testament to the demand for specialized HR executive education and training by a rock star lineup of presenters who are known HR thought leaders in the Workforce Planning space. Webcasts are free and available for viewing live or 24/7 365 days a year through archived access.
With 89 certification credit sessions available in the Workforce Planning Institute, participants in the program are now able to achieve the required 50 hours for IHR accreditation. The Institute will soon produce its first certification graduates in the Workforce Planning series.
The next Workforce Planning and Analytics virtual event is coming up in April, followed by future events in August and November 2012. Registration is open now and sessions for this event are being finalized. Check the Schedule for Upcoming Virtual Events for all programs with specialized focus in this or any division of HR. One example of a popular webcast session, Measure What Matters: Harnessing Analytics for HR Excellence, presented by Brian Gaspar from Oracle and Scott Pollock from PwC, helped attendees to understand the full spectrum of next-generation HR analytic technology as well as develop a roadmap to build out their organization’s HR analytic prowess.
“Workforce analytics and planning continue to be top of mind for all business leaders and HR executives. The need to effectively analyze and plan for future workforce needs is a critical skill required within every company. This web series provides an excellent platform for HR professionals to acquire the necessary skills to achieve success. The calendar for 2012 promises to again deliver meaningful content and in-depth knowledge sharing with peers and colleagues across the globe.”
