The International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM), the world’s leading clearinghouse for the HRIM (Human Resource Information Management) industry, is pleased to announce that Management Solutions Plus’ Vice President, Jamie Notter, will deliver the keynote address at its 2012 HRMS Strategies Conference & Technology Exposition. The annual event will be held April 30 — May 3, 2012 at the Hilton Chicago.
The keynote, `Unlocking the Power of Human Organizations,’ will explore what it takes to create a more human organization as well as provide practical, actionable advice for starting the change process in your organization. Additionally, since humanizing an organization is no easy task, Mr. Notter will discuss what kinds of changes are required at all levels — from culture, to process, to structure, to individual behavior.
“We are honored to have Mr. Notter present the 2012 HRMS keynote address,” said Lynne Mealy, CEO of IHRIM. “We cannot think of a better way to kick-off the conference. We believe that his presentation will tackle a hot button topic of the year: humanizing an organization and empowering it to increase its bottom line.”
Jamie Notter is a Vice President at Management Solutions Plus, where he leads the Consulting Division. Mr. Notter started his career in the field of international conflict resolution and later moved into working with organizations, initially as a diversity trainer and consultant. He carries a master’s degree in conflict resolution from George Mason University, and a Certificate in Organization Development from Georgetown, where he serves as adjunct faculty. An avid writer, Mr. Notter has authored dozens of published articles and three books, including Humanize: How People-Centric Organizations Succeed in a Social World (2011) and Generational Diversity in the Workplace: Hype Won’t Get You Results (2007).
For more than 32 years, IHRIM’s annual event has brought international thought leaders in the HRIM community and business leaders together to exchange innovative ideas and share best practices, as well as build and strengthen valuable relationships. The 2012 conference will be no exception, providing attendees with nearly 60 educational sessions designed to increase knowledge of best practices and trends on topics such as workforce metrics & analytics, social media and Web 2.0, talent management, Software as a Service (SaaS), workforce planning and recruiting, data privacy, and HR systems selection & implementation.
