BOSTON – April 25, 2013 – Interaction Associates Chief Consulting Officer Kevin Cuthbert will present research about the relationship between workplace trust and financial performance at The Great Plains Government Finance Officers Association (GPGFOA) Spring Conference, being held May 8-9, 2013 in Omaha, Nebraska.
The GPGFOA promotes financial and management expertise in government finance professionals in Nebraska and Iowa through education, fellowship, and professional development to foster excellence in government.
Cuthbert will review Interaction Associates multi-year research project, Building Trust in Business, which looks at how top performing companies drive strong business results with a focus at the intersection of trust, leadership, and collaboration.
“Our Building Trust research looks at workplace trust over the past five years – and provides rich insights into how top performing companies use collaborative leadership practices to build organizational, peer, and leader trust,” said Linda Stewart, CEO of Interaction Associates. “We are pleased to explore the data with members of the GPGFOA, and look forward to showing members how they can drive results in their local governments with a focus on trust. The link between trust and results at top performing organizations is profound,” added Stewart.
Kevin Cuthbert is the co-author with Karlin Sloan and Alan Graham of the popular business book “LEMONADE: The Leader’s Guide to Resilience at Work,” which examines key qualities that can help leaders and their teams to bounce back from change and challenge.
