InterviewStream announced today the implementation of WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) technology, which will transform the video interview experience with incredible HD-quality video, clear sound and improved stability.
Continuing a 10-year tradition of innovation, the company is the first video interviewing provider to adapt the open source technology – which will be called InterviewRTC and offered as an additional feature to the company’s current live video interview solution.
InterviewRTC directly connects users’ devices – whether they have laptops or iPads – rather than sending signals via remotely located servers. It enables browser-to-browser applications for video interviewing, freeing up the interview experience from momentary buffer “jitters” and the need for any plugins, downloads or installs, including Adobe Flash Player
“Introducing WebRTC not only offers our clients an exclusive video interview feature, but it dramatically improves their live one-on-one interview experience with amazing picture and sound,” said Randy Bitting, InterviewStream founder and CIO. “It’s easy to use, provides incredibly high quality video, and will help reduce latency issues and security concerns.”
InterviewRTC also allows for more one-on-one interviews on the go, as it strengthens the quality of mobile video communications. Clients will now be able to use their iPads to conduct live interviews with candidates without loss of clarity or connectivity.
Other benefits include echo cancellation, packet loss concealment, bandwidth adaptivity, noise reduction and suppression, image “cleaning” and “dynamic jitter buffering.”
InterviewStream will continue to offer its panel-style live video interviewing feature for situations that require more than one interviewer. For more information about InterviewStream and the new InterviewRTC product, contact communications (at) interviewstream (dot) com.
