On September 6 -7, 2013, HR.com’s CEO, Debbie McGrath, addressed a group of more than 40 human resources (HR) leaders in Saudi Arabia about the importance of developing a strategic HR portal in the local area to showcase HR best practices and HR leaders. The workshop was held in Jeddah and was organized by the Madinah Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship (MILE) and sponsored by the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).
“The goal of HR.com’s collaboration with MILE is help the local HR professionals understand the importance of sharing, collaboration, and best practices to improve the effective use of managing local Human Capital”, said Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Mahmoud, CEO, MILE.
The results of the two-day strategic workshop clearly identified:
1. Key areas of content required to make this initiative a success and provide long term viability,
2. The key stakeholders required to make this viable and drive adoption,
3. The prioritization of the functions, content and user adoption to ensure success.
