Corporate Sales Training Initiative Is Unique Within The Health Benefits Industry
Indianapolis, Ind. [February 4, 2014] — United Benefit Advisors (UBA(R)) is proud to announce it has added a brand new corporate sales training regimen for the producers at its Partner Firms. The best professionals in any industry don’t simply develop on their own. That’s why the UBA University Producer Academy is a comprehensive, annual program that offers the exclusive opportunity to turn good producers into great ones and great ones into industry leaders.
“Our industry has failed itself and not even the Wall Street insurance brokers are engaged in actively finding new talent. With the average age of an insurance broker over 50 industry-wide, UBA is taking the strategic lead to train our next generation of leaders,” said Thom Mangan, Chief Executive Office at United Benefit Advisors. “Our school is almost 12 months of intense education from industry leaders on insurance products, tools, and solutions that will benefit their clients. The 30 students we train annually is yet another step in our continued mission of being the leading independent benefit advisor in the nation.”
In order to best serve its Partner Firms, UBA has devised a training regimen of unprecedented scope. For 30 select producers from UBA Partner Firms, the UBA University Producer Academy promises tailored training by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), an insurance sales consulting firm, and UBA’s own successful Partner experts. The rigorous program includes four weeks of on-location face-to-face training, six webinars, and exclusive ongoing access to Producer ‘PowerPaks’– a one-on-one workshop gathering (online, via phone, or in person) of the group that will continue indefinitely as a way that alumni can rely on each other. Sales coach and consultant training in May and September will be multi-faceted over those days and include carrier training, different Strategic Partner training, and an industry leader component (e.g., CEOs discussing how they got here, what they’ve learned, etc.).
“This is an exclusive, high-octane, high-caliber program covering everything from tactical knowledge to industry analysis. Furthermore, with UBA’s Producer PowerPaks, the learning doesn’t stop just because the training is over,” added Matt Kistler, Vice-President of Business Development at United Benefit Advisors. “With such a comprehensive approach, I’m confident the UBA University Producer Academy is poised to become the elite producer training program in the industry.”
The UBA University Producer Academy has three sponsors. The title sponsor is the U.S. division of Sun Life Financial, a leading provider of employee benefits in the United States who has helped people protect what they love about their lives for nearly 150 years. The academy’s technical sponsor is benefitsCONNECT(R). They are a broker-centric company that offers one of the best online benefits administration and enrollment solutions in the industry, as well as the one of the most valuable business models for the broker. The speaker sponsor is Castlight Health, a diverse group of professionals united by the conviction that people make better choices when they have better information.
