New York, New York, Thursday July 16, 2015: The Best Practice Institute, Inc. (BPI) a professional association of global leaders, experts and organizations dedicated to social/organizational change and learning, has presented leadership pioneer Marshall Goldsmith with an award recognizing his contributions to the field of management. Goldsmith is the author/co-editor of more than 32 books on management and leadership which have sold over a million combined copies worldwide. Following a ceremony in the Winston Churchill Suite at New York’s Waldof Astoria Hotel – the room commonly used by dignitaries and heads of state during UN assemblies – Goldsmith and the BPI senior executive board met with Ursula Wynhoven, General Counsel & Chief of Governance and Social Sustainability for the United Nations Global Compact, to present their efforts in adhering to several areas of the UN’s guidelines on corporate sustainability. BPI member organizations include such well-known companies as Pfizer, Hilton Worldwide, Bank of America, BP, Bristol-Myers Squibb, American Express and CIT Group.
