Cyborg User Association Formally Changes Name to Accero User Association

Portland, OR ─ May 20, 2010 – Accero, a leading HR and Payroll solutions provider serving mid-sized and large organizations in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, is pleased to announce that the independent Cyborg User Association (CUA) has officially changed its name to Accero User Association (AUA). This change signals the user organization’s confidence in Accero’s products and strategy following the acquisition of the Cyborg assets from Hewitt Associates in 2008.

The association, independently founded over 30 years ago for Cyborg users, provides a forum in which users can exchange information, ideas and experiences regarding the company and its products. The group boasts a powerful online community as well as an annual user conference for its members.

Originally founded in 1974 as Cyborg Systems, Inc., Accero was acquired from Hewitt Associates in February of 2008 by Vista Equity Partners, a San Francisco based private equity firm. Backed by Vista, fully funded and cash flow positive, the company re-emerged in 2008 as Accero.
