My company and I want to create an HR chatbot. My biggest concern was taking away the face-to-face interaction with staff. Since we are a manufacturer, the majority of the employees are on the floor and do not have access to a computer. We discussed having a computer kiosk which production employees could use for work, access to the intranet, insurance links, etc.
HR is currently very accessible to the production staff to answer questions, but as we grow and gain additional shifts or branches, the AI interaction would resolve employees’ immediate questions or needs.
HR would still be available for further discussions or clarifications on any of their needs. Later developments would include the ability for staff to access our intranet/chatbot online or via mobile phones as well.
