HR.com Celebrates First Year of Popular Online Certification Program in Performance Management

In June 2011, HR.com’s Institute for Human Resources (IHR) launched the Performance Management institute as part of the virtual certification program for more than 200,000 member HR professionals. In the first year, the Performance Management program attracted more than 6,700 registrations in 59 webcasts delivered by a faculty of peers who are experts in their HR space.

Participants are upgrading their skills while they work and although the complimentary one-hour webcasts are broadcasted live on the HR.com site, they can also be viewed for credit in the archives online. The program requires a minimum of 80 credit hours of courses making completion of the certification possible later in the year. The next Performance Management two day virtual event is open for registration and scheduled later this summer on August 16 and 17, 2012.

“For business success, the performance of your people is key. HR.com’s informative webinars put HR people in touch with the tools they need to maintain the most up to date practices in their organization’s performance management processes. This valuable virtual certification program is unique in its targeted focus in specific HR tracks.”
David Creelman, CEO, Creelman Research

The certification and accreditation process for the Performance Management program is developed and guided through an independent Advisory Board composed of industry experts for each domain with access to the latest technology, best practices and thought leaders in their respective spaces.
