HR.com's Institute for Human Resources Workforce Management Online Certification Program – First Year Success

The Workforce Management Online Certification Program, developed by HR.com’s Institute for Human Resources (IHR), has just completed its first year of offering specialized HR education in the Workforce Management track. Since launching in February 2011, the program granted more than 3,900 credits to attendees. With 72 webcast sessions majoring in Workforce Management topics offered this past year, the IHR accreditation requirement of 60 credits is well within reach whether through live viewing or access through archives.

Registration for the next virtual conference in the Workforce Management track is open and will be held March 5-6, 2012, followed by future events in June and September. An example of a popular webcast in the past is “Getting the Right Employees in the Right Place at the Right Time Part I & II” presented by James Freshwater, Kelly Humphries, Jay Schwerman, and Steve Williams from Workplace Systems. Knowledge and practices that participants gain from these experienced faculty of HR thought leaders as well as practical experience from hundreds of hours of training can be applied in their daily work projects and situations.

“Effectively managing the workforce can be a very daunting and complex — yet imperative — undertaking,” said Peter Broderick, vice president of educational services, Kronos Incorporated. “HR.com’s stellar curriculum of workforce management sessions is designed to help professionals be as savvy as possible about effectively managing the workforce, which aligns with Kronos’ belief that workforce management doesn’t have to be so hard. Kudos to HR.com for its first year of success with the program.”
