Linda Dunkel to Address Conscious Capitalism 2013 Conference On Elevating Humanity Through Conscious Business

March 5, 2013, San Francisco – The leading forum on sustainable, resilient business practices, the Conscious Capitalism Conference, has added Interaction Associates former CEO Linda Dunkel to its roster of prestigious speakers at the upcoming conference in San Francisco.

Dunkel will speak on April 6, 2013, the second day of the two-day conference, and will lead a 90-minute session on specific skills leaders need to advance Conscious Capitalism.

“Conscious Capitalism believes in leaders who focus on ‘we,’ rather than ‘me’ – who inspire, foster transformation, and bring out the best in those around them,” said Linda Dunkel. “I’m pleased to join the session and to lead a hands-on, practicum-based experience for business leaders and other practitioners who are looking to develop skills for integrating Conscious Capitalism into their businesses,” Dunkel added.

The conference’s second day (April 6) will include 32 practicums organized into eight tracks. In addition to Dunkel’s session, Practical Leadership Tools for Conscious Leaders, day two sessions include Making Monday Different facilitated by The Drucker Institute, Implementing the Stakeholder Model facilitated by B Lab, A Conversation with John Mackey on Conscious Leadership, and Employee Engagement and Vendor Relations with The Container Store.

Dunkel is Chair Emeritus of Interaction Associates, having served as President and Chief Executive Officer as well as a past Chair of the company’s Board of Directors. Today, she serves as an executive consultant for the firm, working with leadership teams on a global basis to help them develop high-involvement, sustainable cultures of collaboration to drive exceptional levels of success.

Dunkel was among 18 winners of the prestigious 2006 Best Bosses Award — a national honor that recognizes the most innovative and inspirational leaders of midsized and small businesses across America, and was profiled in Forbes.com for her collaborative leadership style. She is a strong proponent of Conscious Capitalism, and served as a thought partner in the foundation of this movement.
