MTM Recognition is Awarded for Excellence in Quality

Oklahoma City, Okla., December 22, 2011 – MTM Recognition Corporation was among three organizations to be presented the Oklahoma Quality Award  at ceremonies in early December at the Governor’s Mansion in Oklahoma City. The awards were given to organizations that demonstrate high standards of quality excellence worthy of recognition in Oklahoma.

“These are all excellent Oklahoma businesses,” said Heather Griswold, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Quality Foundation. “They represent the best of Oklahoma and we are proud to recognize them.  Organizations must be flexible and innovative if they are to thrive in the highly competitive and changing marketplace of the 21st century.”

The Quality Award program includes both for-profit businesses and not-for-profit organizations. The program helps identify their strengths, find opportunities for improvements, consider processes that increase efficiency, engage employees, examine strategic goals and improve customer relationships.

“The Quality Awards Board of Examiners provides assistance to organizations that have made it a priority to identify approaches to make improvements in their business processes, using the highly successful and nationally recognized improvement processes of the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Program,” said Griswold.

“The Baldrige Criteria provides an excellent framework for organizational performance improvement,” said Roger Mashore, MTM President.  “We are proud to achieve this significant milestone in continuous improvement journey.”  MTM’s Princeton, Illinois facility is a previous award recipient of the Illinois Performance Excellence (ILPEx).

MTM is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, creating and implementing recognition products and programs that celebrate achievement, reward performance, honor service, and brand and reinforce company image.   MTM offers comprehensive, meaningful, memorable recognition solutions.
