HR METRICS COACH TO PRESENT AT THE 2012 IHRIM WORKFORCE ANALYTICS FORUM
ATLANTA, October 16, 2012–The Head Coach of HR Metrics Coach, Mary Ann Downey, will speak at the upcoming 2012 IHRIM Workforce Analytics Forum on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in Atlanta. She will be speaking on Quality of Attrition — Management’s Favorite People Metric.
“Organizations measure attrition more than any other people metric, but it is important to consider if these measurements are what management cares about or what truly impacts the bottom line,” said Daniel Gibson, HR Analytics Consultant, ING Americas. This presentation will teach attendees how high- versus low-performing organizations measure attrition; how to determine which employee segments to measure; how to tell management the story; and tips to avoid common pitfalls.
In her narrative presentation, Downey will walk the audience through:
• the dilemma for a new HR Analytics Manager;
• what management wants and their reactions;
• what Quality of Attrition means to an organization;
• recommended measurements for attrition; and
• the steps to calculating Quality of Attrition
The audience will also be the first to see the release of the Quality of Attrition Scoreboard, HR Metrics Coach’s new easy-to-use, Excel-based tool, designed to allow HR professionals to create visual displays around customized populations, goals, weighted levels of importance, and crosstabs for an organization’s attrition data.
