Quality of Hire Online Certification Program Remarkable First Year for HR.com

One year ago the Institute for Human Resources (IHR) established the online certification program specializing in Quality of Hire topics for human resources. Since that time, the program has been popular with HR professionals looking to upgrade their knowledge and skills in the Quality of Hire track with over 6,900 credits granted in 86 webcast sessions. With the minimum credit hour requirement at 80 credits for this program, IHR accreditation is finally achievable. Each session is complimentary on HR.com and earns one credit hour toward certification as well as recertification for other HR associations. Webcasts may be viewed live or in the online archives so course schedule is completely flexible for busy executives.

“Quality of Hire is the most strategic metric that any talent management organization can pursue. Cost and time metrics have been established for years and the time has come to also establish and measure quality. I am confident that the effort made by IHR to educate around quality of hire will help to bring this element to the forefront of the talent acquisition key performance indicators,” says Yves Lermusi, CEO, Checkster and a member of the Advisory Board.

The next two-day virtual conference delivered online by various peer experts in the field of Quality of Hire will be June 18-19, 2012. Free registration is now open for any interested HR professionals. An example of a popular webcast in past virtual conferences is “HR Strategies to Support a Lean Culture” presented by Select International.
