The product, which allows recruiters to create job postings in a simple interface and post to both job boards and social networks was originally part of BrightMove’s premium software. However, the company realized the value of allowing recruiters to connect, post and track their job postings for free.
“BrightMove wanted to offer an easy effective and free way for recruiters to connect with potential talent,” said Mike Brandt, Chief Operating Officer and company spokesperson. “Unite compliments BrightMove’s recruiting platform and provides a fast and very effective way to distribute jobs across the web.”
Brandt states that while many ATS products offer a similar free service to BrightMove’s JDE with social add-ons, Unite has some key differences. Among the unique features of Unite, is the ability for job postings to point applicants back to the career site or Applicant Tracking System of the recruiter. Unite also boasts sophisticated tracking features more commonly seen in paid products.
The fact that Unite is free introduces users to part of a pricing model that frequently sets BrightMove apart from its competitors. Brandt explained of the monthly, pay-as-you-go concept, “We have no long-term contracts, no extra bells and whistles.
