Sovren Group Inc, Announces Version 6.3 of its industry-leading Résumé / CV Parser and a re-launch of the sovren.com web site, now viewable in multiple language

Marble Falls, Texas / November 16, 2010 — The Sovren Group Inc, a recruitment intelligence software components company, announces version 6.3 of its flagship Sovren Resume/CV Parser and a newly updated web site which provides much more information about Sovren, its products, and its customers.

Version 6.3 adds contact info parsing for Hungarian, ready-to-run images for Amazon cloud deployments, and significant speed and accuracy improvements for resumes, CVs, international job board profiles and LinkedIn profiles. Sovren’s fourth-generation Semantic Matching Engine is also ready-to-run in all supported languages.

The upgrades have helped Sovren continue its market-leading growth, while enabling customers new deployment opportunities that can grow with their business and reduce development and hardware costs. More and more recruitment firms and recruiters are sourcing candidate from sites like LinkedIn and Sovren is able to parse these documents as accurately as resumes. “Sovren does not chase every trend. We’re not trying to offer every type of recruiting and sourcing product for every type of situation and customer. We are laser focused on making the best parsing and semantic matching components, and making sure that those components are the leaders in every way,” states Robert Ruff, President of Sovren.

With Sovren’s Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) solution, customers can launch a pre-configured instance and begin processing resumes/CVs within minutes. “Got the server launched earlier, connected with Remote Desktop, and got parsing results from it. I can’t help but be wary because it seemed too easy…” remarked Kirk Herlitz at ReadyForce, a Linux customer using Sovren’s Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) solution. Sovren supports all Amazon Windows instance types, including Micro.

“We selected Sovren for our resume parsing based on their functionality, flexible deployment options, and industry leadership. Sovren is a key part of our staffing software solution, 1Staff, built in Microsoft Dynamics®. The Sovren resume parsing engine is used as part of our applicant tracking system to parse resumes received through our candidate portal, email, or other sources and automatically creates candidates in Microsoft Dynamics,” says Brent Hitterdal, General Manager at Professional Advantage

The new web site contains helpful information for anyone in the HR software business that is looking to build a new solution or to add to existing solutions. A new section highlights what Sovren’s customers do with its products and is a great resource for anyone looking for a ready-to-run HR-Solution that utilizes Sovren’s market-leading recruitment intelligence technology.

Version 6.3 is available to all current and new customers.
