DETAILS:
Child support orders represent the single largest source of garnishment requests to which employers must respond, and the wage garnishment process is often a burden on HR and Payroll departments. Due to the development of the federally sponsored Electronic Income Withholding Order (e-IWO) project, organizations can benefit from automating their garnishment process for greater efficiency and enhanced compliance.

During this complimentary webinar, William Stuart, principal system architect for the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement, and Tom Werner, product manager of Garnishment Management for TALX, will discuss the features of the e-IWO system and how payroll data can be combined with a direct interface to the e-IWO portal to determine which orders can be immediately responded to, and to further automate the garnishment process.

Attendees of the webinar will learn:

• how e-IWO works, how employers can implement it, and the benefits of the system
• how employers can implement a direct e-IWO interface
• which states currently participate in e-IWO
• how TALX uses payroll data to automate garnishments
• the benefits of interfacing with e-IWO via TALX
• how a TALX interface with PeopleSoft can simplify garnishment management.

Payroll, HR and tax personnel who utilize PeopleSoft and TALX employment verification service, The Work Number®, are encouraged to attend this hour-long educational session, where they will learn how they can improve wage garnishment programs through automation.

“Automation for Garnishments” is part of an ongoing series of complimentary webinars presented by TALX industry experts.
