TRACOM Webinar Gathers Expert Panel to Discuss Real-world Impact of EQ Behaviors on Bottom-Line Business Results

CENTENNIAL, Colo. — June 11, 2012 — The TRACOM Group will host a virtual panel discussion on emotional intelligence (EQ) in the workplace, “The Impact of Emotional Intelligence,” on June 27 at 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. EST/11:00 – 12:00 noon PST.

A panel of EQ and organizational performance experts will discuss the latest issues in EQ and their bottom-line impact on business. Attendees are encouraged to submit EQ questions or work scenarios in advance so that the panelists can respond during the event. Questions can be submitted via the webinar registration form or emailed to EQQuestions@tracom.com. Questions will also be accepted during the webinar and can be submitted via the Twitter hashtag #EQpanel.

Multiple studies have shown that emotional intelligence competencies often account for the difference between star performers and average performers. A next-generation EQ model now focuses on translating EQ awareness into behaviors—the outward actions that create objective, measurable benefits. Webinar attendees will learn:

-how EQ initiatives have improved sales results, recruiting efforts and managerial performance,
-how the behavioral aspects of EQ can quickly make a difference in the workplace, and
-how to apply Behavioral EQ to improve individual and organizational performance.

The TRACOM Group has assembled an expert panel for the webinar:
-Joanne Russo, a partner with Impact Consulting Ltd and previous director of global learning and development for one of the world’s largest hotel and leisure companies. She has led efforts to connect training programs to customer satisfaction around the world.
-Rob Veverka, an emotional intelligence instructor and high-performance executive coach. As president of Professional Learning Systems, he has helped Fortune 100 companies develop emotional intelligence and boost sales results.

-Casey Mulqueen, Ph.D., author of Enhancing Emotional Intelligence with STYLE as well as many other books and articles. He is TRACOM’s director of products, research and development. He has developed a wide variety of assessments such as personality inventories, 360-degree feedback programs, performance appraisal systems, and employee opinion surveys.

-David Collins, TRACOM’s general manager. He has been in the training and development field since 1989, including work in technology training, leadership development, e-learning, recruitment selection and succession planning.

“After decades of EQ research and development efforts, a model has emerged to address the aspects of EQ that can be measured specifically for a work context,” said Collins. “These aspects are what create real differentiators among talent, so we are offering this webinar to help participants harness the power of EQ for their organizations.”

Those interested in attending the complimentary webinar can register at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/548795465. All participants will receive a copy of TRACOM’s “Behavioral EQ Concepts Guide” and the whitepaper, “Putting Emotional Intelligence to Work.”
