Validity Screening Solutions Offers Several New Services

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — April 1, 2010 — Validity Screening Solutions, a premier provider of employment screening and drug screening, announces today the addition of several new services. To supplement its drug screening services, Validity has added Hair Drug Screening and Alcohol Drug Screening. Other new services include Occupational Health Screening and Skills Testing.

Validity is one of the first background screening providers to offer hair drug screening, which is the most accurate and effective method of finding users of drugs of abuse. Ninety days of drug use is detected for every one and a half inches of hair. Collection of hair samples can be done at one of the hundreds of locations across North America with results provided within two to four days.

The two methods of alcohol drug screening used most in an employment setting are breath and saliva based. Breath alcohol tests determine how much alcohol is in the blood by measuring the amount in the air exhaled and results are generally provided within five minutes. Saliva alcohol tests are performed by the employer utilizing a testing kit, thus providing instant results.

Occupational Health Screening aids in determining whether an individual is capable of performing specific job tasks. Validity offers a variety of screenings related to specific professions and employees, including pre-placement and executive physicals, regulatory and compliance examinations, fitness-for-duty examinations, employee wellness examinations, infections disease screenings and vaccinations.
