Chapel Hill, NC – January 29, 2014 – Developing Human Capital: Using Analytics to Plan and Optimize Your Learning and Development Investments, written by Gene Pease, Dr. Bonnie Beresford and Lew Walker, will be published by John Wiley and Sons in the Summer of 2014. This book will provide a guidebook for efficiently collecting, organizing, and analyzing the data surrounding worker performance.
Pease, co-founder and chief executive officer of Vestrics, is a sought-after thought leader and presenter in the field of human capital analytics. Pease co-wrote the first book in the series titled Human Capital Analytics: How to Harness the Potential of Your Organization’s Greatest Asset.
Dr. Bonnie Beresford is the Director of Performance Strategy and Design at AMCI. Beresford was a member of Pease’s team for 4 years while building Vestric’s core methodology.
Lew Walker is the Vice President of Learning Services at AT&T. He is an accomplished human resource executive who has continued to advance the growth of human capital analytics and their value to an evolving industry.
“After the positive response we received from our first book and evaluating what the industry needed – we moved forward with writing a second book focusing on our analytics work within learning and development. This is where a decade of our work was primarily focused. There is a real and pressing need for the advancement of analytics in the world of L&D. We want to help them move away from qualitative measurement methodologies and push the boundaries for further insights,” said Gene Pease, author and CEO of Vestrics.
