Community Elevate and Investing in Local Initiatives
The “Community Elevate” program at SPACE Business Center in Taiwan is all about making a difference. A slice of our profits is invested into local education, healthcare, and green initiatives. This is a volunteer-driven effort, so our entire team gets to roll up their sleeves and help.
This giving spirit is baked into our company culture and happens all year, not just during the holidays. We hold quarterly volunteer events and yearly fundraisers to keep the momentum going.
We’re not just throwing money at problems; we track the impact of our contributions to make sure they’re really making a difference. It strengthens our team and uplifts the community.

Doubling Impact with Employee Matching Gifts
Our company believes in the power of giving back to the community. To encourage our employees to participate in this mission, we have instituted the “Employee Matching Gifts” program.
Under this initiative, the company matches donations made by employees to eligible non-profit organizations, dollar for dollar, up to a specified limit per employee per year. The program is designed to amplify the impact of our employees’ charitable contributions, thereby doubling the support provided to the organizations that our employees care about the most.
We maintain a list of approved non-profits that align with our company’s values and mission, but we also encourage employees to nominate additional organizations for inclusion. This program has not only increased our company’s charitable contributions, but it has also fostered a sense of pride and ownership among our employees, who see their efforts and generosity being recognized and matched by their employer.

Promoting Volunteerism with Paid Time Off
At our company, we have a corporate giving program called “Employee Volunteer Time Off.” This program allows employees to take paid time off during regular working hours to engage in volunteer activities. Employees choose a cause or organization they are passionate about, and they can dedicate their time and skills to make a positive impact.
By providing this opportunity, we encourage our employees to actively contribute to their communities and support causes they believe in. For example, an employee may use their volunteer time off to help at a local food bank, participate in environmental cleanup initiatives, or assist in educational programs for underprivileged children.
We believe in the power of employee engagement, and this program allows us to foster a culture of giving back and social responsibility.

Addressing Societal Issues through Focused Support
Our corporate giving program is purposefully developed to address certain societal issues. By providing grants to schools in underserved areas, financing scholarship programs, and supporting educational technology initiatives, we aim to improve education.
We also participate in reforestation initiatives, host beach cleanups, and advocate for environmentally responsible business practices. In addition, our program contributes to community development by funding local infrastructure initiatives and collaborating with non-governmental organizations to empower marginalized groups.

Microfinance Program for Economic Empowerment
Our company has implemented a microfinance program aimed at supporting economic empowerment within underserved communities. Through this program, we provide funding and resources to individuals who aspire to start or expand their own businesses.
By offering micro-loans with favorable terms and business mentorship, we help individuals overcome financial challenges and build sustainable livelihoods. We closely collaborate with local microfinance institutions to identify eligible borrowers and ensure responsible lending practices. This program aligns with our commitment to addressing poverty from a holistic perspective, fostering entrepreneurship, and promoting self-reliance.
As a result, we have witnessed inspiring success stories of individuals lifting themselves out of poverty, creating jobs, and contributing to local economic development.
