WorldatWork Introduces Executive Compensation Immersion Program

June 4, 2013–Scottsdale, Ariz.–The continuing evolution of the executive compensation function in organizations across the United States creates an enormous need for talent. Organizations that want to fill an executive compensation role often start by identifying high-potential talent among internal compensation, HR or finance staff. They also have HR leaders assume new executive compensation responsibilities. The challenge often lies in getting them up to speed in a short amount of time.

Through an accelerated immersion program that sets the groundwork for participants to take on new responsibilities associated with executive compensation, WorldatWork is pleased to introduce its Executive Compensation Immersion Program. This intensive five-week course is a cohort program that combines in-person and online sessions, and includes follow-up quarterly conference calls for a full year that allow participants to explore hot topics, address challenges, and develop solutions. Participants receive an education in the executive compensation field along with lifetime support through a network of peers, subject-matter experts and thought leaders.

“This program will give participants the kind of insights, experience and knowledge that would take 3-5 years of on-the-job training to get, and they get it all in a 5-week program,” said Brit Wittman, CCP, CECP, director, executive compensation and corporate compensation design, Intel Corp.

Presenters for the face-to-face and online meetings of WorldatWork’s inaugural Executive Compensation Immersion Program in August 2013 include some of the most highly respected practitioners and consultants in the field:

– Michael Davis, CCP, senior vice president, human resources, General Mills
– Steve Harris, CCP, managing director, Frederic W. Cook & Co.
