Cleveland, OH — Sept. 11, 2012 — Hyatt Legal Plans, a MetLife company, has just released the results of its annual national attorney network survey. Participants were asked to rate their experience with Hyatt Legal Plans against those of other prepaid legal service firms. Over 97% rated their overall experience with Hyatt Legal Plans as “excellent” or “good” which is a .9% increase over 2011 and 31.2% above the next leading prepaid legal plans provider.
Each year, Hyatt Legal Plans conducts a survey among its national attorney network to ensure continued satisfaction. The 2012 survey, which was sent to 4,870 panel law firms, had a response rate of 29%. When participants were asked to rate specific functions, Ease of Use received a score of 99% and Coverage Information scored 92%. Hyatt received a score of 93% on Eligibility Information and 97% on Website Access.
“At the end of survey, we invited participants to add comments or suggestions on areas of improvement,” said Bob Dzik, Hyatt Legal Plan’s Assistant General Counsel. “An overwhelming majority of respondents reiterated how much they enjoy working with Hyatt and asked that we continue our current processes with no changes.”
Relationship satisfaction between Hyatt and its panel law firms goes both ways. To obtain a position on the panel, each firm must pass a rigorous set of national attorney network criteria to ensure that it possesses the required experience, expertise and professionalism. Top criteria includes being engaged full-time in the general practice of law; graduation from an accredited law school; valid state licensure; and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the practice of law.
