Sales Scholorships Awarded

USEF and Dow Jones/WSJ Scholarship Winners Announced

Dayton, Ohio – August 4 – The University Sales Education Foundation (USEF) announces the winners of $9,000 in scholarships sponsored by Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal. Mitchel Huber and Garret Iden, both seniors and members of the Global Sales Leadership Society at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and Claire Lee, a senior at University of Washington’s Michael G. Foster School of Business, will each receive $3,000.00 toward their sales education.

The recipients were recognized for their pursuit of sales education and their responses to three questions about themselves and the sales profession. Forty-four students from sixteen universities applied for the three awards by the June 30th deadline.

With over 50% of university graduates accepting positions in the sales profession, the USEF and Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal recognize the importance of a quality sales education. Less than 60 universities worldwide currently host recognized sales programs, with their graduates demonstrating significantly increased productivity and decreased turnover within the first two years of graduation.

Universities and corporations who are interested in recruiting sales students or sponsoring the USEF program can contact Jeanne Frawley at jeannefrawley@saleseducationfoundation.org.
